The forties are back

Vintage styles are more popular than ever. I always said that I wish I was born in the 40's so I could wear the clothes in that day. While looking at vintage online stores, I came across a website that would let me live this dream. Martha's Closet is an online vintage clothing boutique that allows you to pick an era of clothes. The site provides collections from the 40's to the 90's. My favorite from these pictures are the flowery dresses that were picked from the 60's collection. They would look great with some fun jewelry and simple ballet flats. Since these dresses are so busy, I would wear my hair in an up-do to bring out the dress and maybe big earrings!

Liberty of London hits the bullseye

Bold colors and 25 unique prints have filled the racks and shelves of Target. Liberty of London, one of Target's many international designers, is selling everything from women's clothes and accessories to totes and stationary.
I recently bought one of the Liberty of London baby dresses for a co-workers baby shower. When I arrived she had the same dress on, but for women's size. She opened the gift and all you could hear in the room was excited screams and flashing lights everywhere from pictures being snapped of her holding the matching dress. It was purple, pink and white. Ruffles lined the bottom and flowery print covered the front. My Liberty of London gift was the hit of the party.
For a limited time only you can order a Liberty of London handbag made from New York City's billboard advertisement for  Liberty of London in Times Square. The billboard will be turned into 1,600  handbags. You can start pre-ordering your bag now form the Target website.

Calling all UK designers!!!

This is the chance to show your talent to some of the biggest names in fashion. Elle Magazine and the British Fashion Council are coming together to produce a pad scheme that will showcase selected young designers and help them make their dreams a reality.

Elle Magazine will grant the winner access to the top stylists, directors, photographers in the fashion industry. He or she will be given any materials they need for marketing purposes, including a look books, images and films. The winners will be featured at various events to local audiences.

This genius idea will create a business for one lucky designer. The contestant must be two years or less in the business, and will be chosen by fashion experts and top fashion influencers. So look around fashionistas everywhere. You could be standing next to the next designer on the catwalk. What an awesome opportunity for striving, thriving and talented designers.

I love Dahlia Fashion

Dahlia Fashion is an essential stop for fashionistas in London. Take a look at these new items above from their new collection I have picked to display as some of my favorite. I am in love the neck line of the trench, and the two dresses just scream classy.
Below are some other items I just can't keep my eye off off. The two dresses are perfect for spring, and the blouse would look great with a pair of skinny jeans and dark pump.  I really have become a huge fan of Dahlia's collection.

For more information on this store visit their website  or email them at Shop@dahlia.co.uk
